BARTU KAAN ÖZDİŞCİ (1993) lives and works in Brussels.
He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Communication in 2018. He was enrolled in the international residency program at École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie (Arles) between 2019-2021. He is currently studying at the École de Recherche Graphique (Brussels) with an interdisciplinary approach.
In his works, he likes to get into adventure and document it with his camera. Nature, people, identity, belongings, relationships are his main interests. His interest in photography began in his childhood when he accompanied his father, a radiology technician, in the hospital. Lately he is also interested in sound, archives, installation and serigraphy.
His works have been exhibited at Mixer Gallery, İstanbul (2021); Galerie Huit, Arles (2021); Maison Volver, Arles (solo exhibit, 2020); Mamut Art Project, İstanbul (2018) and Daire Sanat, İstanbul (2018) among others.
He has attended several workshops such as ‘Photography and Collaboration Workshop’, ISSP, Riga (2019); ‘Studio Vortex Artist Residency’ by Antoine d'Agata, Arles (2017) and ‘A Bittersweet Photography Workshop’ by Yusuf Sevinçli, FiLBooks, İstanbul (2016).
